What We Do

If you are new to Medicare or already on Medicare, each of our clients has unique needs.

We provide professional, personal, one-on-one assistance to help you decide which Medicare option to select.

There is never a fee for our services.

Your needs may be one or more of the following:

  • New to Medicare as you are turning 65 or, after 24 months, deemed permanently disabled, making you eligible for Medicare benefits

  • Losing retiree or employer health benefits after retirement

  • Changes in your health or wealth

  • Moving to a new zip code outside of your current plan service area

  • Special election period questions & how to avoid potential lifetime penalties for not enrolling on time

How we can assist you:

  • Education on Original Medicare (Part A & B), Medicare Advantage (Part C), Medicare Supplements (Medigap), and Prescription Drug Plans (PDP) or Part D

  • Assistance with enrollment and changing plans

  • Making sure you receive all of the benefits you are eligible for

  • Continued service throughout the year

  • Review your options if your health or wealth changes

Plan Options*

  • MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLANS (MA & MAPD)

Also referred to as “Part C,” which combines Original Medicare Part A & B, and usually Part D

  • MEDICARE SUPPLEMENTS (Plan G, Plan N, etc)

Also referred to as “Medigap Plans,” which supplement Original Medicare

  • PRESCRIPTION DRUG PLANS (PDP)

Also referred to as “Part D,” which may be included with a Medicare Advantage Plan (Part C) or can be added as a stand-alone drug plan to Original Medicare or a Medicare Supplement

What Our Customers Are Saying

"When I turned 65, Karen took the time to assess my needs and provided me options. It was a relief to find someone who knows Medicare so well. It’s good to know that she’ll be with me through my retirement when plans change every year."

Testimonials

About Us

You never have to do this alone. We work for you all year long.

In September 2024, I entered my 18th year in the insurance industry. We treat each client as a member of the family.  My team and I also answer your questions and concerns about Medicare options.

Although we are based and licensed in New York, I am also licensed in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and South Carolina for Medicare Advantage, Supplement, and prescription drug plans.

We represent Medicare Advantage plans from Aetna (NY, NC, SC), Blue Cross Blue Shield Excellus (Greater Rochester, NY), Humana (NY, NC, SC), MVP Healthcare (NY), Univera Healthcare (Western NY), and UnitedHealthcare (NY, NC). Not all plans are available in all counties, and we may not represent all plans in all counties.

As an independent licensed insurance agent specializing in Medicare benefits, we get to know each other through conversation and a confidential personal assessment. After we conclude our research, we will sit down together to review recommendations that meet your medical, prescription, and lifestyle needs.

If you are already enrolled in a Medicare plan, we can compare your current coverage to see if there is a better fit for your medical, prescription drugs, ancillary benefits (dental, vision, hearing, and fitness), and lifestyle (such as snowbirding during the winter months).

If you are facing a challenging diagnosis, let's discuss money-saving options for covering your treatments so you can concentrate on your recovery.

Since insurance plans and coverage options change from zip code to zip code, year to year, along with your health or wealth, if your current plan is no longer meeting your needs, let's get together and review your concerns to find a plan that does.

As your agents and your advocates, we help you every step of the way:

1. Recognize Your Needs

2. Answer Your Questions

3. Present Your Choices

4. Assist With Enrollment

5. Serve You Today and Tomorrow
